Strategic Sourcing Manager - Facilities Services (Virtual)

Position Summary:
PLEASE NOTE: This is a Virtual position and open to all US locations.
OVERVIEW
This role has a primary focus on expediting sourcing of Services and transitioning those services for supplier management by a JLL operations team.
ATTRIBUTES
- Churning of Sourcing work is critical to the success of the role. All work is remote.
- Knowledge of Federal Procurement Policy and/or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) is required for the successful candidate.
- Advanced demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel and Access is a requirement to the successful candidate.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain a meeting cadence with client stakeholders and Account leadership. Build trusted relationships by proactive critical and strategic thinking, excellence in relationship management and accurate management of reporting and data to support strategic planning
- Develop Service Category programs to manage client and account risk, leverage controllable spend, standardize products/services and modify and rationalize supplier base to meet spend leverage goals and Client service needs
- Develop sourcing strategies and manage analytics to facilitate planning and sourcing
- Support standardization of Client Category Service Statements of Work
- Serve as a communication liaison with Client Procurement team
- Execute RFP activity in a shorten life cycle – generally less than two weeks (RFP to Contract execution)
- Develop Category supplier base under Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
- Integrate systems and documents employed across service lines; utilize single methodology and repository to strengthen risk management and to drive compliance
- Engage active diversity and sustainable sourcing programs across the service lines. Track, measure and report results
- Document disparate processes and approaches used today; recommend solutions to drive consistency and risk mitigation
- Assess and build detailed sourcing strategies that identify objectives, category-spend assessments, and milestone timelines
- Execute an Annual sourcing plan and ensure successful execution
- Manage reporting of Account required Sourcing KPIs and other established goals and objectives
- Communicate and coordinate national and regional sourcing initiatives with FM managers
- Drive client compliance to sourcing and contracting policies and procedures. Identify and document non-compliance as evidenced and lead resolution in concert with JLL team
- Conduct Preferred Supplier performance review meetings, as required, and manage supplier scorecards, contract compliance and service obligations
- Support JLL Operations team in ensuring Supplier compliance with all Contract terms
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Purchasing & Supply Chain Management and/or 5+ years strategic sourcing experience
- MBA, preferred
- Expertise in sourcing with demonstrated ability to manage change
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
- Professional certification, preferred (e.g., ISM, LEED)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Excellent Inter-personal skills, organization skills, strong analytical ability (detail driven), and proven ability to lead teams in decentralized environment
- Excellent communication skills – oral and written
- Hands-on role requiring willingness and ability to be both the strategist and tactical
- Success implementing multiple procurement strategies – must be able to prioritize based on Client need while driving focus to all initiatives to expedite progress in all areas
- Proven ability to deliver results in challenging environments
- Advanced PC skills, proficient in MS applications (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
