Job Duties:
Define resource requirements for project (staffing, capital expenses, operation expenses) and track costs in line with the existing plans. Reviews budget requests with leader for approval.
Document project plans, update project management reporting tools, and monitor that projects are on schedule and within budget. Ensure that project charters, meeting minutes, action items, and issues are documented and maintained.
Monitor and report on project performance to identify deviations from planned timing, budget or scope.
Coordinate the activities of matrixed, cross-functional teams. May include contractors/ vendors. Resolve program issues to keep the project on target.
Work with production teams as SME when needed to resolve questions in relation to business processes and best use scenarios.
Manage change control procedures.
Actively participates in the vendor management activities. Active role in selecting and managing external vendor relationships. Participate in vendor contract negotiations by providing comments and deliverables for such documents as Master Services Agreements, Service Level Agreements, and Statements of Work.
Conduct project evaluations and assessments of results.
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Systems, or related field of study, or equivalent work experience.
4 years directly related project management experience. Strong track record managing projects and formal project management knowledge as well as ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
PMP certification preferred.
Ability to provide financial forecast and on-going reconciliation of resources and other project related expenditures.
Excellent communication skills including written and oral skills; superior ability to present to management and executive Steering Committee members.
Excellent relationship management, stakeholder management, and business acumen skills.
Proven experience in change management a plus.
