Main Activities/Duties/Responsibilities

  

This Architectural Services Analyst role will work to identify architectural opportunities early in the pre-design and design phase, focusing on the US and Canada.   The incumbent will collect and analyze data and develop metrics for each region of the two countries on these opportunities.   Utilizing a variety of business research techniques, the incumbent will need to show trends and potential direction of projects and communicate to the marketing team. Data will also be tracked in CRM system.

  

Support Key Project Team in their tracking efforts on projects during the design and pre-bid phases to ensure Vitro remains in the most desirable position

 

Provide timely communications on project status and stages to Architectural Services Manager, Key Projects team, the appropriate SBU Sales Managers, and other relevant Construction Market Team personnel

 

 

Functional and Technical Skills

 

This position requires an individual with a B.A. or B.S. in Business, Architecture or Marketing.   The ideal candidate will have a background in architecture, design, or understanding of the commercial construction industry.  A business development or sales background would also be considered.

 

It requires an individual with broad knowledge of the commercial construction industry, including the various channel influencer roles, the overall construction process, and Vitro products.

 

Candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong time management skills.    The individual must have intermediate or stronger skills with Microsoft Office suite, with proficiency in MS Excel.   Additionally, the incumbent will work with CRM software and data retrieval, as well as summary research techniques.

 

Candidates with Spanish language skills are helpful.  Some travel is required.
